It started on a Pilates mat
I was sitting in class, trying to focus on what the instructor was saying, but I kept adjusting my leggings. They just wouldn't stay up, and it was really frustrating. That moment was the final straw: I decided then and there to start DAYSHIFTWEAR, a shop with activewear that actually works for mid-size women like me.
The waistband was just the start. I was also disappointed with the quality: the fabric was thin and clingy, so it showed every bump and line.
So I've picked out the pieces I really like: high-waisted flares, matching sets and easy layers. The best part is they come in a wider range of sizes, not just the usual small, medium and large.
What I hear from women like me
When I read reviews and talk with other mid-size and plus-size women, the same frustrations come up again and again:
- Leggings that slide down at the waist.
- Thin fabric that shows every line.
- Larger sizes that are hard to find, or only come in a few styles.
- Product pages without real measurements, so ordering feels like a guess.
- Big promises in the description, and a different story once the piece arrives.
That's why I keep my descriptions simple. I'd rather be honest about what a piece is than make promises I'm not sure I can keep. That way, you know exactly what to expect.
What I sell
High-waisted flare leggings, wide-leg pants, matching sets, and grip socks made for Pilates and yoga. Most pieces come in dark shades like black, burgundy and brown, so you can mix and match a bra, flares and a jacket without overthinking it. Most styles go from about US 12 up to US 22.
Sizes you can check
Every product page lists the garment measurements in centimeters and inches. Compare them with a similar piece you already own before you order. US sizes are approximate, and if a style tends to run large, I make a note of it on the page.
Where my products come from
I only ship to the United States for now. I work with international partners, so delivery takes about 11 to 15 business days from the date of your order. I show that estimate before you buy, and you can read all the details in my Shipping Policy. If something isn't right, eligible items (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached) can be returned within 30 days of delivery. My Return & Refund Policy explains how it works.
What I don't claim
I'm not saying a piece will transform your figure, and I don't make claims about fabric that I can't check. And you know how it is: colors can look a bit different on a screen than in real life.
